Hummingbird in flight

We stayed in a house near Yosemite that was a hummingbird sanctuary. They are a difficult bird to photograph because they move so fast, but I like this shot.

Tree Bark in Yosemite

The bark on redwoods is amazingly colored and textured. I might have had a bit of a bark fascination while there.

Tapanzee Bridge

Pardon the marks from the windshield - obviously our car needed a trip to the car wash. But I just loved the sunset over the bridge so much, I went with it.

Swimming Hole

Picture of a small lake/swimming hole high in the mountains in Yosemite. I used the "antique" filter on this - it reminded me that tourists had been visiting this precise spot for hundreds of years.
